To make the world “a better place by 2030”
At the end of September 2015, the United Nations adopted a new global agenda aimed at putting an end to poverty, inequality and climate change. A start has also been made in this regard in Aruba.
Trampolin pa Trabao has also taken responsibility for this. The following 4 “Sustainable Development Goals” apply to us:
Trampolin pa Trabao realizes its contribution
by helping clients on the Aruban labor market find work, so that they too can
generate their own income.
We also commit ourselves to improving the position and quality of life of people with disabilities by always trying to enter into discussions with the Aruban government
and thus drawing attention to the
bottlenecks of our target group.
People with disabilities also have the right to work, just like everyone else. By working people participate in society. Participation is a human right. An income from work not only helps themselves, but also the country of Aruba. As a unique organization, Trampolin pa Trabao aims to achieve this for its target group.
This is about reducing inequality, also in regard to people with disabilities. Unequal treatment makes people feel unworthy and contributes to the destruction of one's self-confidence. Trampolin pa Trabao bears the responsibility to further expand on this, with the ultimate goal of contributing to a full representation of people with disabilities in the Aruban labor market.
We make ourselves aware of recycling within the foundation. Food distributed to our catering clients are always delivered in reusable
eco-friendly containers.
We also reuse small waste (such as corks) in order to create in-house crafts from repurposed materials to sell to community.
